December is here!

Why hello! It's December already, not that you'd really know it here. The sun is shining, I'm wearing a vest top and have been Christmas shopping in flip flops! I'm almost up to day with everything, just a few more bits to get here and a little shopping to do in the UK.

So, last weekend was the Ploenchit Fair, which was relocated to Patana School instead of just on my doorstep at our school. It was a shame it was so far away, but we went anyway. And it was worth it just for the chips! I bought a few bits and pieces, some UK Cadbury's chocolate (melted) and had lunch...
The fish and chips were rumoured to be
fab (you can't get proper chips here)
Instead of fish, I had a pie and oh my it was good! Supplied
by the Witch's Tavern, so we'll be going there for dinner!
There were also some lovely Christmas decorations there, but after my elves came and put up my tree, I didn't need any! Still pretty to look at though.
It could be a stand at the Victorian Fayre
in Worcester! Almost!
As I said, I've done quite a bit of shopping this weekend which has also meant eating out (oh dear). I thought I'd add a few pictures of some of the treats we've seen out and about.
Rock being made at Central World (my new
favourite place)
One of the reasons it's my favourite place is because of the
Cupcake Love stand. The best cupcakes ever. Cheesecake
style frosting. Delicious!
Pretty pretty ribbons in Chinatown
Christmas tat in Chinatown!
Although it's hot and the weather is lovely, there are lots of decorations around that are making me feel Christmassy. And I spend Saturday night with the lovely Amatavivadhanas putting up their tree and Christmas village and eating a lovely roast chicken dinner. Yum! Thank you!
The school Christmas tree!
June's Christmas village
With the Christmas lights on!
That's one decorated tree! :D
Today is the Thai King's 84th birthday - a very special birthday as it's his 7th cycle (12 year cycles) so a bit birthday! I watched his address to the public this morning (in Thai) and the whole city is covered in flags, pictures and tributes. A lovely time to be here! Long live the King :)

I can't believe it's less than two weeks until I'm home for Christmas, time is flying by. It only seems like yesterday I was going for my interview, or that Gary and Beckie were getting married, or that I was at the airport with mum and dad, or that Kate was here visiting!

I'm very excited! :D xxxxxxxxx

  1. Wooooop it's nearly Christmas, can't wait for you to be home. Wish I could go shopping in flip flops, am wearing thermals today and it hasn't got above 5 degrees. Those chips look ace, is that your new favourite place?

    Looking forward the seeing you
